From October through to April we are open in the guesthouse for selected dates and offering three courses for £25 per person. Please feel free to bring alcohol to have with your dinner.

Menu options:

Starters - Homemade mushroom soup ~ Haddock and Spring onion fishcake ~Asparagus with blue cheese wrapped in proscuito ham ~ King prawns pan fried in olive oil with fresh garlic, chillies, ginger.

Main Courses - Tender pork ribs with BBQ sauce served with potatoes and vegetables  ~ Grilled Scottish salmon served with potatoes and vegetables  ~ Diced chicken breast in creamy garlic and paprika sauce with onions, mushrooms and Chorizo served on a bed of tagliatelle. 

Desserts - Cheesecake  ~ Sticky toffee pudding  ~ Rum, raisin and ginger sponge pudding  ~ Chocolate cake 

During high season unless you book all of the rooms in the guesthouse we don't offer evening meals. We are fortunate to have some fantastic restaurants in our vicinity and are happy to help you with reservations or book taxis.

BREAKFAST

We offer an extensive breakfast menu starting with freshly squeezed orange juice, freshly ground coffee and a wide selection of teas. 

Begin with creamy porridge, homemade granola, warm croissants, homemade smoothies, cereals and yoghurt.

If you have a big appetite our cooked breakfast is guaranteed to fill you up for the day, try the Stornoway black pudding, haggis, homemade tattie scones and local free-range eggs.

Eggs Benedict with a twist - Homemade potatoe scones, black pudding, sweetcure streaky bacon, poached egg and hollandaise sauce. Smoked salmon option available too.

Organic smoked salmon with scrambled eggs or traditionally smoked kippers are very popular.

Our homemade pancakes with maple syrup, sugar, fresh lemon or cheese and mushrooms. Dairy and gluten free available on request.

Grilled mature cheddar cheese on toast.

We also cater for vegetarians and celiacs - gluten free porridge, sausages, pancakes and bread. Almond, rice, or oat milk is available for guests with dairy intolerance.

For apartment guests we offer the choice to self cater - you buy supplies and make your own in the fully equipped kitchen - or you can have breakfast with us when we are open in the guesthouse. We close during season for mini breaks, so if you have booked the apartment please check prior to booking if you want to eat with us! Please note there is an additional charge for apartment guests to have breakfast.
